Refund Policy

Refunds after work begins.

Startup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, including backend setup and client onboarding work.

Overview

This Refund Policy applies to website packages, setup/startup fees, subscriptions, consulting, and related services purchased from Cassidy Shaver Consulting unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Startup/setup fees

Startup/setup fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Work commencement includes, but is not limited to, creating the client’s auth account or portal access, creating initial Supabase/project/site rows, creating client portal onboarding records, creating intake or action-item records, reviewing submitted information, planning the site structure, starting copy/design work, configuring forms or emails, setting up staging/demo work, or otherwise beginning project setup or implementation.

This means that even early backend or onboarding setup counts as work commencing.

Before work begins

If a client pays a startup/setup fee and cancels before any work has commenced, Cassidy Shaver Consulting may, at its discretion, issue a refund minus any non-refundable third-party processing fees or costs already incurred. Refunds are not automatic and must be requested in writing.

Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins. A client may cancel future billing according to the billing management process available at the time. Cancellation stops future subscription charges but does not automatically refund past charges or work already performed.

Client delays and inactive projects

Work can only be completed within a reasonable time after the client provides required information, approvals, credentials, access, photos, policies, and other materials needed to complete the project. If the client delays, becomes unresponsive, or does not provide required materials, the project timeline may extend and payments remain subject to this Refund Policy.

Change requests, rush fees, and custom work

Payments for completed change requests, rush work, consulting, custom features, third-party costs, premium tools, domains, paid assets, integrations, or other custom work are generally non-refundable once work has begun or costs have been incurred.

Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us first at [email protected] if there is an issue. Filing a chargeback after work has commenced or after services have been delivered may result in suspension of services, dashboard access, hosting, forms, booking flows, and related features while the dispute is reviewed.

Legal rights

This policy does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Some transactions may be subject to specific cancellation rules depending on where and how the transaction occurred.
