Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Cassidy Shaver Consulting (“CSC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit cassidyshaver.com, submit a contact form, purchase a website package, use the client portal, or communicate with us about services.
We keep the policy practical because our business is practical: we collect the information needed to respond to inquiries, provide website and consulting services, process payments, manage projects, and support client websites.
Information we collect
- Contact details such as name, business name, email address, phone number, and message contents.
- Business information you provide through intake forms, onboarding, client portal forms, change requests, uploads, and project communications.
- Files you submit, such as logos, photos, screenshots, policies, product/service information, and website content.
- Payment and subscription status information. Card and bank details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, referral source, form submission metadata, and basic site/security logs.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes, recommendations, and service information.
- To set up, build, host, maintain, and support client websites and related dashboard features.
- To create client portal access, onboarding records, project records, site rows, form settings, billing records, and related operational records.
- To send service emails, onboarding emails, payment confirmations, project updates, change-request updates, and support communications.
- To process payments and subscriptions through Stripe.
- To improve our website, services, security, and business operations.
Payments and third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy. We may also use third-party tools for hosting, email delivery, analytics, storage, forms, scheduling, client portal functionality, and website infrastructure.
Client websites may also use services such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Postmark, Google Calendar, Google Business Profile, Stripe, and similar tools depending on the features purchased or configured.
Client website and portal data
When you become a client, information submitted through the client portal, intake forms, change requests, uploads, and website configuration forms may be used to build and operate your website. If your site includes customer-facing forms, those submissions may be stored and/or emailed according to the configuration of your site.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the content, policies, pricing, service descriptions, product information, tax/shipping/refund language, and other business information they provide is accurate and lawful for their business.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate for a small consulting and website-services business. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
Sharing information
We do not sell client contact information. We may share information with service providers and infrastructure vendors as needed to operate the business, provide services, process payments, send emails, host websites, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or complete a business transition.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we control, subject to business, legal, security, contractual, and recordkeeping needs. Email requests to [email protected].
Policy updates
